Tom Cruise has a new movie coming out titled Rock of Ages . There is a trailer out now of him singing and playing the character of icon Stacee Jaxx. Tom Cruise in the picture above. Tom Cruise sings in the trailer Bon Jovi's Wanted Dead or Alive  tune. Cruise, also, has tattoos on his back and really does look the part of Jaxx. His hair is long and he really does look like a rocker. The trailer looks exciting and it will be interesting to see Tom Cruise play a rock singer. Will this movie turn out to be a success? I am visiting Canvey Island today.  Whilst, there we usually go to eat out on the sea front.  There is a lovely cafe on the shore front that serves Christmas dinners.  You can walk along the sea shore afterwards or even before dinner to get some fresh quality air. Canvey Island is a small seaside town.  It is quaint.  There are some beautiful houses for sale down there too, as I am looking to buy down there in the future. Rent a holiday apartment in Coral Bay in Cyprus. A one bedroom holiday apartment for holiday let and situated very near Coral Bay in Paphos, Cyprus.  

The Weather in Essex has not been particularly brilliant today.  The sun has been in and out all day.  It has not rained, but it is getting cooler than it was last month, especially in the evenings.  It has been very chilly in the evening, so a cardigan is needed. If you are going out, then wear jeans and trainers with socks on, as your feet will get cold.   I know this because I was in London on Monday evening and there was a cold wind in the air.  I was silly enough to wear a jean skirt with no tights on but just sandles and I was freezing! So, if you are coming to England this time of year just be prepared for the damp or on and off sunny weather at times.

Yesterday, I visited Canvey Island in Essex. This is a small quaint seaside village in England.

On Saturday, 11th September 2010 I travelled to see some friends in Maidstone, Kent.  I was staying there the night because I was going with my friends from Maidstone to see the Heroes Concert at Twickenham Stadium in London. Photo credit: en.wikipedia.org - Maidstone river
