I am visiting Canvey Island today. Whilst, there we usually go to eat out on the sea front. There is a lovely cafe on the shore front that serves Christmas dinners. You can walk along the sea shore afterwards or even before dinner to get some fresh quality air.
Canvey Island is a small seaside town. It is quaint. There are some beautiful houses for sale down there too, as I am looking to buy down there in the future.
